Revival at CIOC

Hey guys....long time no blog...things here at the King household have gotten busy. Corban is doing great...sleeping around 6 hours a night! PRAISE GOD! Yesterday we had a one day revival with Revivalist Joel Talley. All I can say is CIOC peeps love the presence of God. We had a wonderful meeting yesterday morning and last night...well, let's just say we started at 6pm and was still in church past 10pm. I told CIOC peeps that seeing them worship God, being slain in the Spirit, and worshipping like they were was second only to the day Corban was born. That day I felt so many emotions that I can't even explain them...and last night watching as those Tyra and I love so much worship and receive a touch from God was beyond amazing. Thanks to everyone who came and supported...we purposely didn't advertise it simply because we (CIOC) needed a touch from God and God met us yesterday. Thanks to Joel Talley and the anointing that is on his life. Come visit the new CIOC...our people are on fire for God.

What matters now...

Ever notice what matters now doesn't matter long? Before I got married everyone told me that getting married was going to change my life. It did. In fact, almost everything anyone and everyone told me about marriage was true. (good and bad, LOL) They said that once you are married you learn a new level of love that is impossible to understand before marriage. They said once you are married little things that annoy you (Tyra doesn't have any) will annoy you more. It happened again when we found out we were pregnant. Everyone started telling me how much having a child would change my life. I must admit that at the moment many things have changed but the impact of Corban being here hasn't settled in yet...maybe because I am running off adrenaline because of a lack of sleep. My point? Glad you asked...my point is things that you are willing to fight for today will soon not matter that much in a few days. The only constant in my life has been my relationship with God, Tyra, Family, and now my Boy. Things that are simply just life that I found myself really fighting for no longer matter. I really can't be more specific but if you have ever been here you know exactly what I'm saying. Simply put...don't get too bent out of shape about what's going on right now in your life...it will soon change as life does. It's not one of the beatitudes (should be, sorta like God helps those who help themselves...not in there but should be) but I like this, Blessed are those who are flexible for they shall never be bent out of shape. God bless all of you who prayed for Corban...he is here and doing great! Now pray for Tyra and I, LOL. More pictures on www.kingskidone.com
