From Fayette, AL

Hey Everyone!!! The revival is going GREAT!! Last night we had 6 saved, 4 filled with the Holy Ghost, and 2 marriages restored! To God be the Glory. As many of you know God opened a door for me here in Birmingham to record 5 television shows for air in a couple of weeks on a local Christian Television Station that covers most of AL! Recording a week's worth of shows in 4 hours was tough but God showed up on every recording. You can check out the hosts and the show here: Morning Viewpoint Thanks so much to Richard and Leslie Scrushy for the open door! I was able to ride in first class as Greg Lowery picked me up in Fayette, AL on his Entertainment Chartered Bus...check it out here at the bottom of the page (it's the big red bus) : Greg Lowery It was quite a day. Richard told me to be expecting some emails and some calls once this airs in a couple of weeks. It will touch 2.5 million homes. God is Good. I want to thank CIOC Peeps for allowing me to be an arm extended from our church. Lives are being changed!
Now to personal news...Tyra has been officially taken out of work until some time after the baby is born. She is having something called Braxton Hicks Contractions...It's not too serious but enough to go ahead and get her off her feet!!! Thanks to Wachovia Bank for helping and being such a great employer! And, to Donna, Tyra's boss! You're GREAT! I believe that's about it! Please continue to pray for me and this revival! God Bless!

Baby Boy King

Ok...so we haven't settled on a name yet..but this little boy is getting BIG. Yesterday at the Dr's office we found out that he's 5 lbs 11oz....my goodness....we are 34 weeks today and the baby is measuring 35! We are working as hard as we can to get everything set up for him.
Please continue to pray for Tyra...it looks like she might have to go out of work in a couple of weeks to prepare....she is getting so tired these last few weeks and not having much energy to do much else other than work...Thanks to everyone who has sent us great wishes! I will post a picture as soon as He's born!

Revival in Mt. Vernon, IL

Hey Everyone,
I am still in Mt. Vernon, IL. We are having a tremendous revival here. Last night we had over 180 in the church! God is moving in such awesome ways. Wednesday night we had 21 rededicate their life to the Lord. Praise God! The people here are so nice and are making me feel welcome! Last night we had the young people on the stage while having the adults in the altar area facing each other. I asked for the young people to pray for the adults and the adults to pray for the young people. God began to move and people were being touched all over the church. Take care and I will blog more later!

Baby Showers, Friends, and other thoughts

Ok...so, I have never been to a baby shower. Until....Saturday. Tyra and I had our first baby shower and I must say...It's like Christmas...We want to thank EVERYONE for being so thoughtful and blessing us in such an awesome way. We got more stuff than this child will ever need. Randy Looper, a friend of ours, made a website for the little man...it's www.kingskidone.com You can go there and see updated pictures, read a blog, and even leave us comments! So go there today. I also want to thank all of our friends. God has blessed us with Great friends to share in this time of our lives. I have said it before and I will continue to say it...this past year was the worst one of my life...but God has been faithful. Thanks to those who didn't give up on Tyra and I. You kept praying for us and believing for us when we couldn't believe for ourselves.
And other thoughts...
So I'm sitting in the chair Saturday opening gifts and about the third one was a box of diapers...someone yelled out..."you are going to need a lot more than that...just for the first week." Oh my goodness...it's a new reality for me...please pray saints, Pray!
