Ok...a Few Thoughts on my Mind

First of all let me say how excited I am about what God is doing at CIOC. If you have lost the newly saved feeling let me encourage you to read Elisha Holmes Blog. Everytime I read her blog I am convicted and encouraged all at the same time. Convicted that I allow life to consume my joy and my excitement for God and for what He is doing in my life. Encouraged because it reminds me that God is still working, not only in my life but the life of those who are connected to us here at CIOC. Thanks Elisha.

Now to the web "Master" of CIOC. I know you didn't take the Clemson/USC game public on our site. You are barking up the wrong tree my friend. USC LOST!!!! (In case you forgot or need reminding CLICK HERE)
Ok Now we can bury the Clemson/USC hatchet...they lost...accept it....oh, Im sorry you're used to accepting them losing to Clemson....GO TIGERS!
Ok for all those reading that could care less...sorry...I had a score to settle with my web guy. (LOL Hey Russell)
See everyone Tomorrow MORNING!!!

Something is about to happen...

I don't really know what it is...but I feel it in the air greater now than ever. I'm not talking about something only in our church but in the air here in Anderson. This is a great time to be living in Anderson, SC. Why? Because something is about to happen. Let me explain.
Tonight we got in from preaching in Alabama over the weekend. Getting in later than expected we decided to do what was easiest and call Domino's for pizza. Being it's so close these guys know us well. When I went to pick up the pizza I asked the owners son if they had caught the guys who had robbed them a few weeks back. He told me, "Not yet" and proceeded to tell me about the shooting that occured today in Anderson. (LINK) Now if you have been around me for more than a few minutes you know that I talk about how much Anderson is in the news for bad things. Well tonight I hadn't hardly pulled off from getting my pizza and the Holy Ghost fell in my truck. Nothing really like jumping out of the truck and doing a dance in the middle of the road...but something so significant that I knew it was God. At that moment I just knew that soemthing was stirring in our city. Whatever you are doing...keep doing it...if you're not doing anything...START!!! It's time to shake the foundations with Praise to God. Something is about to Happen. Get READY!! We are going to be a part of a Great outpouring of God!

1. God is more concerned with you than your ministry.
a. God is more concerned with what you are more than who you are.
