Ok..it's blog time again...
So, how are things? Here we are getting ready for our next appointment with the Dr. a week from tomorrow. Tyra is feeling a little sick most days...which, I have told her is a good thing...it means things are right on schedule. She then reminds me that I'm not the one getting sick so I guess she is right. Continue to pray for us as you think about it. Next Thursday at 8 am we will have our first ultra-sound and will know a little more then.
On the spiritual note...God has really been leading me to study about Sancttification. Boy that's a long word...it simply means...to make holy or free from sin. As christians we know that we will not totally be free from sin until we make it to heaven...yet, we must understand that our life here on earth should strive to be holy. The Bible teaches that without holiness it's impossible to see God. (Heb. 12:14) But I get the feeling that holiness and sanctification are things we do not strive for in our lives. We teach that as long as you go to church and talk about God then you are fine. Whatever happened to people living right? Doing right? Living for God? Instead we talk about Him, we talk about church, we talk a good game but are we living it? Sanctification is positional and continual. Meaning...you should be able to point to a day, maybe the day you were saved, and say, God began a work in me and things changed in my life forever...and they continue to change. I don't want to be a christian who only talks a good game...but one who is living a life for Christ. How about you?
